According to the New York Post, a man fell 30-feet into a basement in Manhatten. Amazed, the onlookers said he fell through metal plates, and only complained of cuts and bruises. New York personal injury attorneys are just as shocked as the rescue workers that pulled him out to find he wasn't seriously hurt.
Vincent Riggio, is the man who fell as he stepped out of an OTB parlor in Tribeca. The metal doors he was standing on while somking his cigar gave way causing him to fall. Supposiidly, the metal plate that was holding the doors steady had corroded and gave way.
