Halloween Safety Tips Approved By Police Departments

AmberAlertRegistry.org has published their list of police approved, "Halloween Safety Tips" to help keep young children safe while trick-or-treating. The company urges parents to be mindful of the location and actions their children are taking this Halloween.

Some of the Halloween safety tips for young children include:
  • Children shouldn't snack while they're out trick-or-treating. They should wait until they get home and parents have had a chance to inspect the goodies.
  • Remain on well-lit streets and always use the sidewalk.
  • Only go to homes with a porch light on, and to ensure Halloween safety, never enter a home or car for a treat.
AmberAlertRegistry.org, an innovative online data storage service, is designed to improve the transfer of vital information to law enforcement in the case of a situation requiring Amber Alerts nationwide. For more information on how to register your child visit www.AmberAlertRegistry.org.
